Eng. Moses Magogo:-Secretary FUFA Competitions CommitteeThe Calendar for FUFA Competitions has been passed by the FUFA Executive Committee and the competitions for the 2010/11 will be played as scheduled

This season, the registration dates for all players for all levels have been unified as 19th July 2010 to 23rd September 2010. This will give room to clubs to plan release and acquisition of players for the leagues. These dates have also been entered into the FIFA Transfer Matching System and this will affect clubs that need to acquire players from outside Uganda as the computerized system will only allow requests and transaction made during this period

Venue: Ivy’s Hotel, Wakaliga Road

On behalf of the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) and on my own behalf, I wish to convey our sincere and heartfelt condolences to all the affected families of the victims of the Sunday tragedy that left over 70 people dead.

There is no doubt that all the deceased were great football fans that braved the night hours to watch the World Cup final between Spain and Netherlands. This tragedy robbed us of great men and women who were key in cheering the game in our Country.
