Mauritania has today communicated to FUFA the date of the AFCON 2015 return leg qualifier as Sunday, 3rd August 2014.
‘We have received communication from Mauritania today confirming the return leg date as Sunday 3rd August 2014 at the Stadia Olympique’ Edgar Watson confirmed the development.
FUFA is yet to release the travel plans for the National team-Cranes but they are working round the clock on the trip so that they arrive in time.
Uganda Cranes resumed training at Namboole Stadium today.
The 16 players who trained Wednesday morning at Namboole Stadium
Goal Keepers: Ismail Watenga, Benjamin Ochan and Robert Odongkara
Defenders: Denis Iguma, Nicolas Wadada, Denis Okot, Savio Kabugo, Richard Kassaga, Andrew Mwesigwa, Isaac Isinde, Andrew Mwesigwa and Joseph Ochaya
Midfielders: Allan Kyambadde, Farouq Miya, Ivan Ntege and Gaddafi Kiwanuka.
Striker: Brian Umony
Note: Brian Majwega was present at the training but did not train.
