Uganda Cranes head coach, Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has released the full list of 21 players set to play for the country in two important matches.

First will be the international build up against Zimbabwe on Wednesday 31st May 2016 before the group D AFCON 2017 qualifier against Botswana.

Addressing the media during the FUFA weekly press conference at Mengo on Wednesday, Micho hinted of the overwhelming desire to see Uganda to the best of expectations.

One of the surprise names called on the team is Werder Bremen striker, Lorenzen Melvyn who was born in London but to a Ugandan father, Drake Mugisha.

“We have summoned 3 goalkeepers, 5 defenders, 6 midfielders and 7 strikers. Melvyn has been called to add to the competition to the already existing pool of strikers on the team” Micho told the media.

Non-residential training starts on Tuesday with aerobics sessions at Acacia fitness gym.
