FUFA Women Elite League: Wins for UCU Lady Cardinals, Uganda Martyrs, She Corporate and Kampala Queens

FUFA Women Elite League (Sunday Results):

  • UCU Lady Cardinals 5-0 Wakiso Hills
  • Kampala Queens 3-1 Isra Soccer Academy
  • She Mak 0-3 Uganda Martyrs Lubaga
  • She Corporate 2-0 Western United
  • Eastern Heroes Vs Olila Women (Eastern Heroes failed to turn up)

 

Saturday Results:

 

  • Kawempe Muslim 2-0 Muteesa I Royal University
  • Rines S.S 1-1 Ajax Queens

 

A total of 18 goals were recorded over Saturday and Sunday as the FUFA Women Elite League returned with the second round matches.

Four goals were scored in the two matches played on Saturday with 14 goals recorded in four matches played on Sunday.

UCU Lady Cardinals registered the biggest scoreline in the 5-0 home victory against Wakiso Hills in Mukono.

Moureen Kinavudori bagged a hat-trick with the other two goals coming from Teddy Najuma and Hasifa Nasunah.

Uganda Martyrs Lubaga defeated She Mak at Makerere University play ground.

Sharon Namatovu netted a brace and Spencer Nakacwa scored the other goal.

At Villa Park play ground in the heart of Kampala city, Kampala Queens overcame Isra Academy 3-1.

Rita Nakirijja, Damalie Matama and Mable Kusasira found the goals for Farida Bulega’s coached side as Mwajuma Namukwasi was on mark for the consolation.

She Corporate were 2-0 home winners against Western United at the MUBS play ground.

Naome Nagadya and Noelina Namiiro scored the goals for She Corporate.

The Eastern Heroes and Olila High Women team match was not played.

Earlier on Saturday, Kawempe Muslim S.S edged Mutesa I Royal University 2-0 whilst Rines S.S and Ajax Queens shared the spoils in a one all draw.

The Women Elite League will resume next weekend.
