Uganda Super League Committee (USLC) has had to act on the indiscipline that was taking root during the Uganda Super League matches. During the meeting that was attended by all members of the USLC at FUFA House on Tuesday 16th February 2010, a number of hard biting decisions were made. Mr Decolas Kiiza who is a member of the committee was tasked to deliver the decisions for public consumption through the FUFA weekly press conference
“The cases that were not captured by the match officials’ reports were referred to the FUFA Disciplinary Committee to conduct investigations before verdicts and decisions are made. However for the matters reported in the match officials reports are taken as a matter of fact and decisions have been made in line with the 2009/10 Uganda Super League Rules” said Mr. Kiiza at the unveiling of these decisions

He further stated that the media and general football public is called upon to condemn the barbaric acts of hooliganism and the general discipline tear and wear in the league by the clubs, coaches, officials, referees, players and fans.
The decisions included cautions to first time offenders like Wasswa (Coach Bunamwaya SC), Isabirye Isa (Coach Maji FC), Oyet Julius (Secretary Maji FC) and Wahab (Club Official-Arua Central). There were fines and match suspensions for recurrent offenders like Sam Simbwa (Coach-KCC FC-900,000 UGX) and Byenkya David (Secretary Kinyara FC-900,000 UGX) while Iganga TC FC, Arua Central FC and SC Villa are required to produce violent fans in seven days else be fined 1,000,000 UGX for acts of holliganism at various matches. Particularly Ssaza and Arua grounds have been issued an ultimatum of relocation of matches if there is reoccurrence of stones and object throwing onto the pitch
Nalubaale Coach Mr. Mujib Kasule and Express Coach Mr. David Otti who were quoted in the media to have made comments about match officials, have been required to use the same media to dissociate themselves or amend the statements made by the 24th February 2010. They have the option to stand by the statements made by failure to respond in the stipulated time or by confirming that they meant their statements
Mr. Mujib Kasule is quoted in the media to have made comments that match officials were bribed by Mr. Mwanje Joseph for the Nalubaale FC vs. Masaka LC FC Match as quoted in the Monitor Newspaper of the 15th February 2010 while Mr. Otti David is quoted in the media to have made comments about match officials for the Bunamwaya SC vs. Express Match as quoted in Bukedde Newspaper of the 8th February 2010
Express Player by the names Kiyega Badru and URA FC player one Mulindwa Frank who were involved in a brawl during the URA FC vs. Express SC match in Namboole have been suspended for 2 Uganda Super League Matches with immediate effect and only allowed to return to action after a payment of a fine of 300,000 UGX
Boroboro Tigers FC was not lucky enough this time as the USLC has evoked rule B12 (c) to relocate all their remaining home matches from Lira to Kavumba Stadium in Wakiso after the fans descended on the Assistant referee Mr. Roberto Bukenya and thumped him into comma.
Final warning has also been issued to all clubs that have not been declaring gate collection proceeds and that defaulted on referees’ payments that the rules will be applied to the dot
“This is a long overdue crackdown on some people who thought they would do anything and walk away unabated. After the Jinja workshop club officials ought to realize how much it is costing us to continue hiding their heads in the sand on the issues of indiscipline” Said Eng.
