Uganda vs Cape Verde: Head coach Desabre names Squad for crucial AFCON qualifier

Training Programme for Uganda Cranes:  Starts 9th November 2018 with local based players at Luogo

Uganda Cranes head coach Sebastien Desabre has named his squad for the 2nd last Group L 2019 AFCON Qualifier with Cape Verde on 17th November 2018 at Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.

‘The non residential training programme will start on 9th November with 14 local based players at Lugogo. The 16 foreign based players summoned will join camp as per FIFA stipulated international break rules’ said FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein

Cranes have two matches lined up starting with the 2019 AFCON Qualifier against Cape Verde then face Nigeria on 20th November in a friendly game away at Asaba Stadium.

Uganda Cranes top Group L with ten points and need just one point from the remaining two fixtures to make back to back appearance at the AFCON Finals under the administration of historical FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo.
