BUL football club interim coach, Joseph Mutyaba has started his tenure at the helm of the Jinja based side on a winning note – overcoming Corporate XI 0-3 on Wednesday evening at MUBS, Nakawa.
Robert Achema gave the Jinja based outfit the lead with a well taken penalty following a deliberate handball in the forbidden area when a goal bound headed effort from team skipper, Asiku was handled.
Club new signing, Edgar Luzige doubled the lead before the all time club scorer, Patrick ‘Crespo’ Asiku sealed Corporate XI’s fate.
BUL football Club now progresses to the next stage and will face the winner between Ntoda and Kiira Young Football Clubs.
Other Games of the round of 64 will be played on Thursday and Sunday this week.
Meanwhile, Paidha Black Angels F.C has also progressed to the next round with out dropping any sweat after Kasese wrote to the FUFA Competitions committee citing high transportation costs to West Nile.
Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) Football Club is the defending champion of the tourney that has been played since 1971.
