2014/15 UGANDA CUP: Round of 32 Fixtures Resume

Ten round of 32 fixtures for the 40th edition of the Uganda Cup cup are set to be played at various grounds on Tuesday.

Like shocking results have dominated the Uganda Cup since its inception, many more are expected by the close of business today.

Several Uganda Premier League (UPL) sides will be in the action against determined lower tier clubs whose prime ambition among others is to prove a point.

Former winners, Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU)traveled over 450 km to the south west district of Kisoro where they are set to play home side, Nyarusiza F.C.

In the city center, Sports Club Villa will be playing at Nakivubo War Memorial Stadium against Busia United.

Buganda regional outfit, Masavu F.C coached by former Uganda Cranes international, Livingstone Mbabazi plays host to Kumi United at the Katabi Gombolola grounds in Entebbe.

Masavu F.C eliminated Jininja Municipal Council at the previous stage while Kumi United beat Soana F.C.

Big league clubs tussle out:

The Uganda Cup will once again present the opportunity for FUFA Big league clubs to face each other.

Rwenzori group club, Water F.C entertains Elgon’s Ndejje University at Mengo Secondary school play grounds.

Elgon group’s Kirinya Jinja S.S, who edged Entebbe F.C play Artland Katale at Jinja S.S play grounds in Jinja.

U-23 striker Villa Oromochan returns to Zombo to lead the line for FUFA Big league side, Paidha Black Angels as they host Maroons at the Bar Okoro Stadium in Paidha.

After the round of 32 fixtures, the round of 16 games will be determined at a draw to be held on Wednesday, 18th March 2015 at FUFA House.

The Uganda Cup is the oldest knock out football competition in Uganda is organized by FUFA with Airtel Uganda as one of the partners in the organization of the tournament whose winner represents Uganda at the CAF Confederations Cup.

Uganda Revenue Authority (URA) F.C is the tournament defending champion.
