2017 AFCON: Uganda Cranes kick off Preparations

Uganda vs Botswana

Venue: Namboole Stadium

Charges: 20,000/-, 50,000/- and 120,000/-

Note: A ticket for 120,000/- comes along with a free Uganda Cranes red jersey

 

Uganda Cranes head coach Milutin ‘Micho’Sredojevic will take his players through a light training session at Kabira Country club as preparations for the forth coming international fixtures against Gambia, Botswana and Tanzania.

Micho is yet to release his squad as he is monitoring the physical fitness of some foreign based players whose  football seasons on recess. Some U-23 and CHAN squad players will feature in the training today.

The training will start at 4pm today where the coach will release a detailed programme and the squad for the non residential training.

Uganda Cranes is due to play Gambia on 9th June 2015 in an international friendly, four days later take on Botswana in the opening match of the 2017 AFCON Campaign and the African Nations Championship (CHAN) qualifier against Tanzania in Zanzibar on 20th June,2015.

Meanwhile Hamza Nsereko has been named media officer for Uganda Cranes two fixtures against Gambia and Botswana.
