The Uganda Cranes camp has been boosted by the timely arrival of center back, Isaac Isinde.
The defender, features for Ethiopian league champions St George F.C.
He joins the rest of the players currently preparing for the International build up game against Gambia and the opening AFCON 2017 Group D qualifier against Botswana.
The team entered their third day of non-residential training at the Phillip Omondi Stadium Lugogo in a 2 and half hours’ session watched by the FUFA President, Eng. Moses Magogo.

Currently, Micho is using U-23, CHAN and foreign based players whose seasons ended as their fitness levels are being monitored.
The head coach will name the final squad on Friday and later enter residential training.
Isinde joined the rest of the 34 players who started training on early this week on Monday 1st June 2013.
Speaking to www.fufa.co.ug; Isinde said that he is motivated because he helped his team win the domestic title and now the center of attention is on the Cranes.
I am ready to try to win a position at the team because I am not definite that I‘ll be part of the final list, there are many younger endowed players . I will do my best as a player and I leave the rest to the coach .Our time is now, Ugandans have waited for so long

In the other developments, the national team coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic said that him his technical team are focusing on player fitness because many haven’t been playing or training after the break of the seasons at their respective clubs.
All players are in a good shape for the upcoming matches against Gambia friendly and AFCON 2017 qualifiers against Botswana on 13th June 2015 at Mandela National Stadium Nambole.

Team captain Geoffrey Massa promised Ugandans the best out of players because they are all focused and called upon every stake holder to play his part for the success of the team.
Training resumes on Thursday morning starting 9 a.m, at the Philip Omondi Stadium.
