The Uganda National team coach Milutin ‘Micho’ Sredojevic has expressed his happiness at senior players -strikers Geoffrey Massa and Robert Sentongo.
‘I am impressed by the level of dedication shown by Massa and Sentogo .Though they have been at the Cranes for more than ten years , their level of commitment is so far above the ground that they are paying special attention to the directions and eager to vie for positions at the national team’ said Micho
This was at the Uganda Cranes training session held at the Maroons Stadium in Luzira.
A total of 32 players reported for the training session this morning.
‘The big number of players increases the level of competition and makes the players more devoted because three players fight for one position’ added Micho.
He added that the non-residential and early training sessions are used to check the mental strength, physical fitness and effectiveness of the players before Friday when the current squad will be will be reduced to even accomodate more foreign based players. KCC and Sc Villa players have been given ample time to train with their teams ahead of the Uganda Cup final due this Saturday in Ntungamo.
Training resumes tomorrow 9am at the Philip Omondi Stadium.
