Uganda’s list of international referees has been received from FIFA by the Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA).
The list for 2017 has Twenty two (22) referees and have been approved for the 2017 FIFA badges.
‘FIFA sent the approved list to FUFA and we are in position to communicate it to the concerned stakeholders. We Congratulate the officials selected, entities and people that have made the Uganda FIFA list. FUFA expects the International referees to maintain high standards while officiating matches both at the domestic and international front’ said FUFA Communications Manager Ahmed Hussein
The list has two new names Naigaga Habiba (Woman referee) and Okello Dick (Male Assistant referee).
The list of Uganda FIFA referees 2017;
Male referees; Miiro Brian Nsubuga, Batte Denis, Muhabi Alex, Ssali Mashood and Sabilla Chelangat Ali
Assistant referees; Ssonko Mark, Okello Lee, Katenya Ronald, Bugembe Hussein, Balikoowa Musa Ngobi and Okello Dick.
Beach Soccer: Kintu Ivan Bayige, Mugerwa Shafic and Ssenteza Muhammad
Women referees: Ssemambo Aisah Nabikko, Akoyi Anna and Naigaga Habiba
Women Assistant referees; Nagaddya Catherine Cyntia, Nakitto Marex Nkumbi, Mutonyi Jane, Atuhaire Docus and Nantabo Lydia Wanyama
