43rd Uganda Cup:
Quarter finals:
- Match 57: Sadolin Paints Vs Onduparaka – Nelson Mandela National Stadium, Namboole
- Match 58: URA Vs – Express- Mehta Stadium, Lugazi
- Match 59: Vipers Vs Paidha Black Angels – St Mary’s Stadium
- Match 60: Police Vs – Kataka or KCCA – Nelson Mandela National Stadium, Namboole
The draws for the 43rd Uganda Cup quarter finals have been held at FUFA House, Mengo on Wednesday.
FUFA Competitions director, Ali Mwebe conducted the draws flanked by the FUFA Communications manager Ahmed Hussein, club officials and a fully packed media personnel.
Mwebe reminded the clubs and media of the fourth round (quarter final) stage rules as he also communicated the likely dates that the games will be held.
Ali stated;
No team has been seeded at this stage. If the teams are still tying by goals at the end of the match, extra time of not more than 15 minutes shall played to determine the winner and the team with more goals after extra time will be the winner.
If the teams remain level, spot kicks shall be applied to determine the winner.
The quarter finals shall be played starting on the 9th April 2017
Fixtures:
Sadolin Paints will play host to Onduparaka at Nelson Mandela National Stadium, Namboole in match 57.
Match 58 will see URA entertain Express at the Mehta Stadium, Lugazi
Reigning champions Vipers play Paidha Black Angels in match 59 at he St Mary’s Stadium, Kitende as Police shall await the winner between Kataka and Kampala Capital City Authority.
This year’s final shall be played in West Nile region.
