AFCON 2017 QUALIFIER – Group D:
Comoros 0-1 Uganda Cranes

Uganda Cranes defeated Comoros 1-0 away in the group D AFCON 2017 qualification encounter on Saturday, 5th September 2015.
Midfielder, Tonny Mawejje scored the only goal of the day in the 22nd minute that the team gallantly defended for the remaining minutes of the game.
In the second half, Dennis Onyango raised to the occasion to save a penalty from the home side.

Micho completed the three changes. Holding midfielder, Ivan Ntege replaced Brian Umony in the first change of the game.
Joseph Ochaya came in for Farouk Miya before a limping William Luwagga Kizito paved way for Yunus Sentamu with less than 5 minutes of the game to play.
Ntege was later cautioned for a foul on an opponent, minutes after his introduction.
Uganda now leads group D with six points from two games while Botswana edged Burkina Faso 1-0.
The next round of the AFCON 2017 qualifiers will be played in March 2016.
