Ahead of the opening CECAFA U-17 AFCON Zonal Qualification match between Uganda and Ethiopia in Dar Es Salaam Tanzania, head coach Onen Peter together with his technical team have named their starting lineup.

Onen commended the fitness level of his players and their debutant opener.

‘Our first match of the tournament begins on Sunday.  From the time we started camping in Njeru, the level of fitness, conditioning and mental approach have all been finely tuned. We are all ready waiting for the D-day’ said Onen

Meanwhile team Captain Kizito Mugweri Garvin believes they can collect maximum points of Ethiopia considering all efforts put in by FUFA, players and entire technical team.

 ‘We are playing our first game but i believe we shall post good results’ said Kizito

The starting line up consists of 6 players who were part of the Ugandan side in the CECAFA Championship hosted in Burundi when Uganda finished third.
