Agape, Kyetume make the grade for 2017/18 FUFA Big League

FUFA Regional League Finals:

  • Eastern: CRO 0 (4) – 0 (5) Agape
  • Buganda: Kyetume 4-1 Nsaagu

Agape and Kyetume became the latest clubs to be promoted to the 2017/18 FUFA Big league on Wednesday.

Kyetume won the Buganda region final 4-1 over Nsaagu at Uganda Martyrs’ play ground, Ssonde.

Denis Lubowa (brace),Yusuf Ssaaka and captain Rajab Jooga were on target for Kyetume, coached by former Uganda Cranes, URA and BUL midfielder Augustine Nsumba.

Isaac Kalema got the equalizer for Nsaagu.

In the Eastern region final, Agape defeated CRO 5-4 on post match penalties at the Busembatia play ground.

This was after normal time had ended goalless before the kicks from the penalty were called.

The two clubs (Agape and Kyetume) join Western region’s Sharp and Kampala’s Ntinda United as the already promoted clubs.
