Uganda Cranes players who remained in Kampala as the rest of the team traveled to West Africa for the crucial away AFCON qualifier against Ghana this weekend this evening braved the rain to complete the 2 hour training session meant to maintain their fitness levels.

Shortly after they started the evening and second training session of the day, it started to rain but the players under Coach Frank ‘Video’ Anyau kept his boys on the pitch for the drills.
Goal keeping coach Stephen Kigundu is also in camp to help the technical team.

‘I am happy with the way these players are responding. Their attitude is great and we have had two successful training sessions today-in the morning and evening. Even Brian Majwega’s injury is healing progressively’ said Anyau after the training.
‘We are now waiting for Geoffrey Massa to join the players here in camp and we believe the fitness levels will be matching with the rest of the team that will come from Ghana’ added Anyau.
The training was witnessed by FUFA technical Committee Chairman Hamid Juma.
