AUPL: Sublime goals by Odour, Bukenya as Vipers defeat Champions KCCA FC

Vipers SC were in fine form as they made use of home advantage to pick three points off reigning Azam Uganda Premier League champions KCCA FC.

Vipers who finished runners up last season in the league defeated KCCA FC 2-1 at Nakivubo stadium on Friday afternoon to take their points tally to 15, three behind leaders KCCA FC. Both KCCA FC and Vipers have played 8 games each.

Tony Odour was on fire while Deus Bukenya controlled the midfield and their efforts were rewarded with fine goals all coming in the first half.

Geoffrey Serunkuma netted KCCA FC’s consolation late in the game.

The other match played in Jinja, Sadolin Paints took on JMC Hippos. It ended 1-0 in favour of Sadolin Paints FC.
