
The FUFA Competitions Committee (FCC) has fulfilled the directive by the FUFA Executive Committee of promoting one club from the Big League to take up the empty slot created by the non compliant Maroons FC in this year’s FUFA Super League.
FCC Secretary, Decolas Kiiza has this 17th day of September 2012 written to Aurum Roses Football Club to take up the slot. “I have the pleasure to inform you that the FUFA Executive Committee has decided that Aurum Roses Football Club having been the fourth best ranked team in the FUFA Big League 2011/2012 season takes up the slot left by the non compliant Maroons Football Club” reads part of Kiiza’s letter to the club Secretary.
Though verbally accepted the promotion, Aurum Roses Football Club is further required to express its willingness in writing and not later than 1700 Hours on Tuesday 18th September 2012. They are also required to file the following forms which must be duly signed and stamped by the same date:
- Form F101d – Club Registration Application Form
- Form F102 – Board Declaration Form
- Form F901 – Compliance Declaration Form
- Payment of licensing fees of UGX 400,000
- Fully filled player registration forms depending on the status of the player; and
- Payment of UGX 1,000,000= per club to enable player licence processing.
