Azam Uganda Premier League 2016/17 season gets underway on Friday

Bul FC Vs Proline FC , Kakindu Stadium-Jinja (4:30pm)

Express FC Vs Lweza FC, Wankulukuku Sadium (4:30pm )

.Kirinya Jinja SS Vs URA FC , Bugembe Stadium-Jinja (4:30pm)

.Police FC Vs SC Villa, Kavumba R.Grounds (4:30pm)

·Vipers SC Vs Bright Stars FC,Nakivubo Stadium (4:30pm)

·Onduparaka FC Vs Soana FC ,Green Light Stadium-Arua (4:30pm)

·The Saints FC Vs Sadolin Paints FC, Bombo Barracks Grounds (4:30pm)

After close to two months of the off season, all the 16 clubs have adequately prepared and the plat form to exhibit what has been prepared is Friday, 19th August 2016 with the opening match day one.

There are eight games to be played across the country.

Newly promoted crowd pullers, Onduparaka is at home to Soana at the Green Light Stadium in Arua.

Onduparaka also has a new coach, Leo Adraa who replaced Allan Kabonge whilst Soana traveled with a care taker coach Katono Mutono.

Another newly promoted club, Kirinya-Jinja S.S will host Uganda Revenue Authority at Bugembe stadium in Jinja.

Champions KCCA host Jinja Municipal Council Hippos at their newly laid Phillip Omondi stadium, Lugogo.

This will be the only live game on Azam TV and it will start at 4:00 p.m unlike the rest of the games that kick off thirty minutes later.

Vipers, last year’s runners up under a new coach, Abudallah Mubiru entertains Lato Milk and Fero Media sponsored Bright Stars whose coach Fred Kajoba is also Uganda Cranes’ goalkeeping coach.

16 time record league winners, SC Villa visits Kavumba stadium for a date against stubborn opposition, Police.

At Kakindu stadium in Jinja, Bul is at home to newcomers Proline.
