The Azam Uganda Premier League (AUPL) returns to the frey on Tuesday, 5th April 2016 with seven fixtures to be played across the different play grounds.
The match on live on Azam Television will be at the Champions stadium in Matugga between Bright Stars and table leaders, Kampala Capital City (KCCA) football club.
Bright Stars will still be without their head coach, Fred Kajoba who is recovering from ill health following admission since his return from Ouagadougou with the Uganda Cranes.
Against an on-form KCCA F.C sharp striking line that has Derrick Nsibambi, Ceasar Okhuti, the Bright Stars backline led by skipper Benard Muwanga will be expected to be sharper than ever.
KCCA prays that creative midfielder, Muzamiru Mutyaba passes a late fitness test.
BUL football club is at home to second placed Express at the Kakindu stadium in Jinja.
After losing 5-2 to Soana in their last game, BUL F.C will be seeking to make quick amends with the home fixture.
Milton Karisa is highly tipped to trouble Express’ backline with marksman, Tonny Odur the expected source of inspiration for the Red Eagles.
Lweza takes on The Saints at Mutesa II Stadium, Wankulukuku as Maroons takes on Jinja Municipal Council Hippos at the Luzira play ground.
Reigning champions Vipers away to Police F.C at the Kavumba recreational stadium in Wakiso.
Vipers welcomes back three players who were with the national U-20 side in Rwanda during the one all draw.
Defender Halid Lwaliwa, goalie James Ahebwa and striker Alfred Leku are all available for selection.
Other expected match winners for team Vipers are midfielders Deus Bukenya, Mike Mutyaba and sharp striker Erisa Ssekisambu.
Midfielder Kezironi Kizito remains injured and is a big doubt for the match.
At the Mehta stadium in Lugazi, Uganda Revenue Authority football club will be at home against relegation bound army Simba.
URA F.C will look to the sharp shooting boots of the league top scorer, Robert Sentongo, the creative impetus of Saidi Kyeyune and the returning Nicolas Kagaba for magic.
Simba as usual will dwell upon the ever fresh legs of veteran forward Godfrey Wakaza meanwhile the robustness of Aggrey Kirya at the right flank injects urgency.
