AZAM UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE: Three draws, two wins recorded as Vipers drop points

AZAM UGANDA PREMIER LEAGUE 2014/15 Results [Tuesday, 22nd April 2015]:

SCVU 1-1 Lweza FC

Vipers 2-2 URA FC

Sadolin Paints 1-1 BUL FC

Rwenshama 0-1 Police FC

Simba 1-0 Entebbe

There were 10 beautiful goals scored in the five AZAM Uganda Premier League fixtures played on Tuesday, 21st April 2015.

In Bugembe Stadium, Jinja, the derby game between Sadolin Paints and Bul F.C ended in a 1 all draw.

Substitute, Milton Kalisa opened the scoring 10 minutes to full time before another substitute, Anthony Blaise relied in similar fashion.

The game was shown live on AZAM Television.

In Buikwe, Uganda Revenue Authority Football Club needed a last gasp equalizer through Frank Kalanda as the game ended 2 all.

URA had grabbed the lead through Milos Illic in the first half before Farouk Miya and Micheal Mutyba, who had earlier missed a penalty scored for the tax collectors’ side.

At Nelson Mandela Stadium, Namboole, Lweza and the home side, Sports Club Victoria University (SCVU) played to another 1 all draw.

Francis Sembatya scored Lweza and SCVU scored through Muwadda Mawejje.

Uganda U-23 striker, Umar Kasumba scored the only goal on the day for Police F.C as the ‘peace keepers’ ensured a 1-0 victory over struggling league debutant side, Rwenshama.

Simba F.C were 1-0 winners over Entebbe F.C in the other game.

The league resumes on Friday with a couple of games lined up.
