Azam Uganda Premier League: Vipers halt KCCA’s unbeaten run at Lugogo

KCCA 1-2 Vipers

Vipers Sports Club brought to an end KCCA’s unbeaten run on the Phillip Omondi Astro turf at Lugogo with a 2-1 well worked out victory on Tuesday.

KCCA took the lead through Geofrey Sserunkuma who scored a penalty after Nico Wakiro Wadada had handled the ball in the forbidden area.

It was Sserunkuma’s 18th  goal of the season in as many games of the top league this term.

Vipers made amends scoring through Tonny Odur and Moses Waiswa to win the game.

Despite the slip up, KCCA FC remains top of the 16 team log standings with 48 points same as second placed SC Villa but with two games in hand.

The top tier league will resume on Friday.
