Azam Uganda Premier League: Vipers & Police win away from home

Azam Uganda Premier League:

Tuesday Results:

Maroons F.C 0-1 Vipers Sports Club

BUL F.C 2-3 Police F.C

The only two games in the Azam Uganda Premier League played on Tuesday produced six goals.

There were away wins for the league reigning champions, Vipers over bottom placed Maroons in Luzira; and Police F.C over Bul at Kakindu stadium, Jinja.

Vipers won the day 1-0 courtesy of a well taken striker by Uganda Cranes player, Erisa Ssekisambu in the 39th minute of the match relied live on 102.1 FUFA f.m.

Ssekisambu’s goal was a tapped in effort that followed a well delivered free-kick from teenager, Pius ‘Muzei’ Wanji.

Wanji is one of the 36 players recently summoned for the Uganda U-20 team (Hippos) preparing for the CAF U-20 qualifiers against Rwanda early next month.

Vipers now accumulate 34 points to narrow the gap adrift of the table leaders, KCCA to four points.
