Vice chairman of Uganda Beach Soccer Association, Peter Seguya applauded FUFA for the support given towards the development of Beach Soccer in the country.
“It would be hard to find a playing surface in this country like this one. We have a challenge that many of the beaches we have been using were all affected by the raise of the water levels but this is timely and we hope it will help to host tournaments.” He noted.

The Sand Cranes will lock horns with Ghana for the AFCON Beach soccer Qualifier contest slated for Saturday 27th March and return leg away on 9-10th April.
