Beach Soccer: UBSA Executive confirms dates for league kick-off, ordinary general assembly set for September

 

Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) executive committee has confirmed dates for the 2020/2021 season league kick-off.

In the same vein, they also agreed upon the date for 2020 ordinary general assembly during a meeting at FUFA Complex Mengo.

The UBSA Executive committee members agreed the 2020/2021 League season kick off on 21st November 2020 while the Ordinary General Assembly will be held on Saturday 26th September 2020 in Kampala.

In the same meeting, Club Licensing requirements proposed by Beach Soccer Competitions Committee were successfully approved. The number of clubs to participate in the Elite Beach Soccer League were also approved with a maximum of twelve (12) and a minimum of five (5) clubs.  

Meanwhile, the UBSA Women Beach Soccer League clubs will have a minimum of five (5) and maximum of eight (8) clubs in the 2020/2021 season.

The UBSA 2020/21 activity Calendar was among the items that were also approved.

During the same meeting, Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) Chairman Deo Mutabazi and FUFA Football Development Director Ali Mwebe were officially Congratulated upon being elected 1st vice president African Beach Soccer Union and appointed vice chairman of the ABSU technical and development committee respectively.
