The Uganda Beach Soccer Association (UBSA) is set to host the East African Beach Soccer Summit ahead of the Pepsi National Beach Soccer League final this weekend. Lido beach in Entebbe will hot the semifinals and final on Saturday.
The summit which will bring together participants from Kenya , Tanzania, Zanzibar and Uganda will be held at Athina Club House in Kololo on Friday 26th May 2016.
Delegates have already jetted into the country looking forward to the summit .

Among these are, Melda Munyazi Chimbejah , Fahad Chengi Saidi and Mwachiya Evans from Kenya Adolf Alhabis from Zanzibar while Kasano Jonathan is coming from Tanzania .
Deo Mutabazi the Chairman UBSA expressed his delight at Uganda hosting and chairing this summit.
‘It is a milestone in the development of Beach Soccer in the East African region’ said Mutabazi.
‘Delegates will share ideas on how to shift the Beach Soccer game in the region to other levels .They will also learn how Uganda run the Pepsi National Beach Soccer League so that they also start Beach Soccer leagues in their own countries’ added Mutabazi

The delegates will also discuss about the Malindi International Open to be held in October this year .
The guests will witness the final day of the Pepsi National Beach Soccer League that will start with semifinals; St Lawrence vs Stormers while Nkumba Select vs Real Galacticos. Matches kick off at midday but there will be a curtain raiser match at 3pm between UBSA officials and FUFA’s beach soccer team.
The Chief Guest at the final Chairman Kenya Beach Soccer Association Raphael Mwalungo arrived this morning and will also be part of the summit.
