Bell Uganda cup defending champions, SC Simba were on Tuesday showed an early exit from this year’s tournament by Victoria University FC, a first division league team from Wakiso district.

The normal time ended goalless forcing the referee to throw the game into spot kicks. Simba lost 4-3 and they will live to blame their two star players Sula Ssebbunza and Swaib Ssebalu who failed to convert their chances. Simba entered the pitch with all the advantages including a home ground but the visitors registered a memorable record away at Bombo barracks.

Else where, Victors FC defeated Namasagali 3-0 and Bunamwaya walloped Rising Stars 4-1 in Aduku. Another Super Division team Police  FC beat Katabi FC 3-1 on spot kicks, Misindye edged Kirinnya 1-0, Entebbe lost 0-1 to Wembley, Utoda won 2-0 against Kiryanteete while URA out smarted Sadolin with a humiliating 3-0 win. Augustine Nsumba, Benson Ociti and Robert Ssentongo scored for their side.

Meanwhile SC Villa advanced to the next round after Kwania FC failed to show up in Nakivubo.
