With less than three final games for teams in the Buganda region, the competition for slots has intensified.
In the Sezibwa group, leaders Kampala United (34 points), Luwero United (29) and Kira United (28) have a realistic chance of making the two of the required teams for the play offs.
Over the weekend, Kira United and Kampala United played to a one all draw and Luwero United were held at home by Free Stars.
The two relegated teams (Bombo United and Mukono United) are already known.
The Katonga group is equally as competitive.
Bwala Soccer Academy from Masaka (36), Entebbe based Masavu Kigogwa (31) and Nangabo Green Valley (29) are in the running for the two slots.
Survival for the Fittest:
The Katonga group relegation script speaks in bold. Lwengo Football Club has been relegated and each of the three bottom placed clubs; Uganda Red Cross (8), Young Simba (9) and Masaka’s Ayod F.C (11) all have a chance of going down.
