Another FUFA member BUL FC playing in the Azam Uganda Premier League has voiced its support with a strong stand on the way forward towards Ugandan football.
With the club chairmen and CEO of teams registered and licensed to play in the top flight net season set to meet at FUFA House tomorrow, BUL FC will miss the meet due to various club engagements.
However BUL FC Chairman Aliasi Silver has communicated to FUFA sending in the club’s apology as they will beable to make the trip to Kampala.
‘We wish to send in our apology that we won’t be able to attend tomorrow’s meeting due to tight schedule of the Club. On the same day we have an executive meeting with the Directors/ Patron of the Club thereafter unveiling ceremony of the new coaching staff and the new players plus the 2015-2016 squad’ said part of the communicationto FUFA
The communication further reads; We want to make our stand clear on issues governing /running Football in Uganda
- We are NOT part of the people who want to take FUFA to court.
- We are ready to start the League under the Azam Uganda Premier League
- We are of the view that these matters can be settled amicably on round table discussion as football family and let the clubs get their monies
- There’s need to respect one another as we do not need to be friends in order to work together
The meeting set for tomorrow at 2pm is for Azam Uganda Premier League CEOs, Club Chairmen and FUFA.
