Bul FC Clinches FUFA Super 8 Title

In an epic and entertaining final under the floodlights at the MTN Omondi Stadium on Sunday evening, Bul FC successfully defended their FUFA Super 8 title with a nail-biting 6-5 victory over Vipers SC in a dramatic penalty shootout. The match ended in a goalless stalemate after both normal and extra time, despite numerous opportunities for both sides to break the deadlock.

The game was a showcase of intense football action, with both teams displaying tactical discipline and relentless attacking efforts. Bul FC, known for their resilience and spirited play, matched Vipers SC stride for stride, creating a series of chances that tested both goalkeepers. However, the defensive lines held firm, forcing the contest to be decided from the penalty spot.

The decisive moment of the evening came during the shootout when Vipers’ teenage left-back Enock Luyima, under the weight of the occasion, sent his kick soaring over the crossbar. The miss handed Bul FC the victory, crowning them the FUFA Super 8 champions for the second consecutive year. The Eastern giants celebrated jubilantly, having added yet another chapter to their growing legacy.
