CAF AFCON 2017 Qualifiers: Four players join team , FUFA President watches training session

The Uganda National Football team ‘The Cranes’ held the fourth day of non residential training at Mandela National  Stadium ,Nambole on Friday morning.

Three players joined others who started training on Tuesday 24th May 2016 with gym work at Paradise Fitness Center, Kamwokya .

These players included Davis Kasirye of Rayon Spott in Rwanda ,Geoffrey Walusimbi and Khalid Aucho all from Gor Mahia in Kenya and William Kizito Luwaga who plays for Feirense in Portugal.

The FUFA President Eng Moses Magogo accompanied by the FIUFA CEO Edgar Watson, the Chairman Technical committee Hamid Juma and National teams’ coordinator Patrick Ntege observed Friday’s training at Mandela National Stadium in Nambole.

Later the FUFA President held a meeting with the players and team officials .While communicating to the players, Eng Magogo assured players that’s situation is still in our hands and if we win the tow remaining games we shall be where we want to be.

“We can have an away win against Botswana and winning starts now ‘added the Eng Magogo.

He urged players that they can redefine themselves when they qualify for AFCON finals to improve their profiles as well.

While concluding Eng Moses Magogo told Uganda Cranes players that the Federation is giving in whatever is possible to aid the team get positive results.

The coach’s emphasis was on effective goal scoring from all angles, long balls and shooting from a distance.

Training resume on Saturday evening after players reporting to camp early on  Saturday.

Salim Jamal (Goalkeeper), Denis Iguma, Godfrey Walusimbi ,Murshid Juuko, Hassan Wasswa ,Khalid Aucho, William Kizito Luwagga, Geoffrey Massa, Emma  Okwi, Faruku Miya and Edrisa Lubega
