CAF ‘C’ COURSE: FUFA President opens course, urges participants to take Coaching education seriously

FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo opened the coaching course at FUFA house Mengo .The course is organized by the Kampala Region Football Association with 37 participants taking part and will run from Monday 27th July to Saturday 8th August 2015.

While addressing the participants and organizers at FUFA house Mengo, the FUFA president praised the Kampala region for taking a fundamental step in Human Resource development.
‘Education results may not be recognised in a short period but generations realize the fruits of long term planning’ said FUFA President.

The President reminded the participants with one of the most famous sayings ‘If you want to get results in a year plant maize, in a decade plant trees and for a generation educate people’

FUFA has embarked on human resource development by introducing several courses for coaches and all football stake holders.

FUFA has organized several coaching courses at the level of CAF A,B, C and for Beginners.

The President further asked participants to develop themselves to other levels up to the CAF pro license which is the highest coaching level on the continent.

Course Assessors/Examiners: Technical Director Asuman Lubowa and Education Officer Jackson Nyiima

Beginning this season any coach to handle a Uganda Premier league club must hold a CAF B license, CAF C license for Big league clubs.

The President cautioned that requirements list will keep changing each season and urged the participants to keep upgrading.
