The Uganda winners Sc Villa have confirmed that they will participate in next year’s CAF Confederation Cup.
Sc Villa’s participation was confirmed by a letter to Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) written by club CEO Ivan Kakembo.
The FUFA Spokesperson Ahmed Hussein confirmed the latest development.
‘We are in receipt of the communication from Sc Villa regarding their participation in the CAF Confederation Cup. However they will be subject to CAF Licensing before they are allowed to take part’ said Hussein
Sc Villa and Azam Uganda Premier League champions Vipers will represent Uganda in Continental club football next season. Vipers will make their maiden appearance in the CAF Champions League if they meet the requirements for the CAF License.
