CAF President Ahmad Ahmad has sent a written message of condolence to FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo following the demise of Hajji Abbasi Sendyowa who was laid to rest on Tuesday evening in Mbarara.
The Condolence message addressed to the FUFA President reads;
It is with a heavy heart that I received the shocking news of the death of CAF Commissioner Mr. Abbasi Sendyowa.
He was a legend of football management on the continent who served African football in various capacities’ said part of the Condolence message addressed to FUAF President.
A man of many parts, Mr. Abbasi served in diverse fields both in his native Uganda and on the international front.
On my own behalf, the CAF Executive Committee and the African football family, I convey our heartfelt condolences to the football Federation and the bereaved family for their great loss.
Our hearts are with them during this difficult period.
