FUFA has organised a two day residential workshop for Training of Trainers (ToT) to be held from 14th-15th May 2022 at the FUFA Technical Centre, Njeru.
The workshop, whose participants were asked to submit their applications for attendance is aimed at;
- Equipping instructors with modern approach to course delivery
- Understand and contribute into the philosophy of new FUFA Education curriculum
- Understand the process and procedures involved in organising FUFA courses
The Executive Secretary of the FUFA Football Development Unit Ronnie Kalema confirmed the latest news.
‘We shall have 40 participants taken through the latest training on presentation, preparation of content outline, course delivery and how to train new instructors in other regions and other FUFA Member Associations. At the end of the workshop, the Football Development Committee shall recommend the names to FUFA Licensing Committee for issuance of FUFA Instructors Licenses’ noted Kalema.
‘FUFA’s Vision is to be the number one football nation in Africa on and off the field. We shall issue a two year license to the Instructors and at the end of this period, each instructor will be required to undergo another refresher course to match the prevailing trends’ added Kalema.
The FUFA Football development Director Ali Mwebe noted that the list has experienced participants who have been handling courses at both CAF and FIFA Levels.
‘The experienced personnel on the list will help us to share ideas from their specialized fields as we also pass on notes to them from equally important areas like coaching, administration and communication’ said Mwebe.
