Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan McKinstry has released the starting IX against Burundi in the CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup Group A match at the StarTimes Stadium Lugogo on Saturday at 4:00pm.

KCCA FC Goalkeeper Charles Lukwago starts in goal. Paul Willa, Mustafa Kizza, John Revita and team captain Halid Lwaliwa are all in defence.

Shafiq Kagimu, Bright Anukani and Allan Okello are part of the midfield department.

Vipers SC striker Fahad Bayo leads the striking force together with Viane Sekajugo and Ben Ocen of Police FC.

This is the second time Uganda is playing Burundi at the StarTimes Stadium this year.

The first meeting happened two months ago in the CHAN Qualifiers game were Uganda Cranes won the encounter 3-0.

Bayo, Okello, and Sekajugo who punished Burundi in CHAN are named in the starting list.

Only two players Yusuf Ssozi (Police FC) and Mike Mutyaba (KCCA FC) are out of the squad that played against Burundi in CHAN Qualifier.
