CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup: McKinstry makes seven changes in the starting XI against Eritrea

Uganda Cranes head coach Johnathan McKinstry has announced the eleven players that will start the third Group A match against Eritrea in the ongoing CECAFA Senior Challenge Cup at the StarTimes Stadium Lugogo this Wednesday at 4:00pm.

McKinstry has made a decision to introduced seven new faces in the starting list that will play against Eritrea.

URA FC defender Paul Mbowa makes it to the lineup and will pattern skipper Halid Lwaliwa in the central defense.

The other new players are, Midfielder Muzamiru Mutyaba who makes his first start in the Team together with Nicolas Kasozi, Karim Watambala, Steven Mukwala, Mustafa Mujuzi, and goalkeeper Joel Mutakubwa.

Meanwhile, the Irish born tactician rested goalkeeper Charles Lukwago, defender John Revita, Paul Willa, Shafiq Kagimu, Bright Anukani, Allan Okello and Fahad Bayo who have been part of the first eleven since the tournament kicked off.

KCCA FC duo of Nicolas Kasozi and Muzamiru Mutyaba will linkup in the center of the park together with youngster Karim Watambala.

Steven Mukwala will play as a lead forward with Ben Ocen and Viane Sekajugo on the left and right flanks respectively.
