CECAFA Senior Women Challenge Cup 2019:

Semifinals Results:

 Burundi 0-5 Kenya

 Tanzania 1-0 Uganda

The Crested Cranes painfully bowed out of the 2019 CECAFA Senior Women Challenge Cup after losing to the hosts Tanzania 1-0 during the semi-final clash at Chamazi Stadium on Saturday  afternoon.

Asha Rashid scored on the stroke of full time for the match winner before a fully packed crowd.

Tanzania will now play Kenya in Monday’s finale at the same venue.

Kenya overcame and Burundi 5-0 in the first semi-final contest.

Uganda will now face Burundi in the race for third place on Monday, 25th November 2019.
