Crested Cranes head coach Faridah Bulega was delighted by the excellent performance on the day, a stepping stone towards the rest of the matches in the championship.

However, Bulega demands more from the players especially great possession of the ball and affluent finishing.

‘We managed to beat Djibouti 13-0 and this is splendid. It is an impressive start to the tournament as we look forward to further improving upon the grey areas. We need to possess the ball more as we plan for penetration of the opposition final third, and we shall work upon more shooting drills in training on Monday’ Faridah Bulega attested.

The earlier group B encounter witnessed Kenya defeat Ethiopia 2-0.

Jentrix Shikangwa and Cynthia Shilwatso Musungu scored for Kenya
