CECAFA U-20 Challenge Cup:

Uganda and Eritrea U-20 national teams settled for a one all draw at the 2019 CECAFA U-20 group A Championship duel played at the Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu.
Ivan Bogere scored for the home team in the 37th minute before the equalizer came from Yosief Tesfai Mewael in the 57th minute.
Second half substitute Isma Mugulusi who had come on for Najib Yiga hit the post as Uganda rallied for the winner that never arrived.
In the other changes, Sadat Anaku was replaced for Ivan Asaba as Steven Sserwadda was introduced for Joseph Kafumbe.
During the earlier group A match played, Sudan humbled Djibouti and thus lead group A with three points.
Both Uganda and Eritrea have a point apiece as Djibouti lies bottom.
At the FUFA Technical center in Njeru, Burundi and South Sudan played to a three all draw.
Next Matches in group A:
Eritrea shall face Sudan in the early kick off at 1:30 PM on Monday, 23rd September 2019 at the Pece War Memorial Stadium in Gulu.
Uganda will then battle Djibouti in the latter game at 4 PM on the same day and venue.
