Final Group B match: Tanzania 0-0 Ethiopia
Semi-finals (Sunday, 18th September 2016)
1st Match: Kenya Vs Ethiopia – 2 p.m
2nd Match: Uganda Vs Tanzania – 4 p.m
Tanzania and Ethiopia played to a goal-less draw in the final 2016 CECAFA women championship group stage match played on Friday at the FUFA Technical center, Njeru.
After normal time of the two countries, a coin toss was called to determine the match winner.
Match commissioner Agnes Mugena conducted the toss of the coin that was won by Tanzania.
Shortly after the coin toss, either sides celebrated having reached thus far in the tournament with the semi-finals coming up this Sunday.
Tanzania will now face Uganda Crested Cranes in the second semi-final match of the day on Sunday.
Kenya Harambee Stars will face Ethiopia.
Monday will be the second rest day after Saturday before the third place and finals on Tuesday.
