Uganda Lead 3-0 on aggregate from first leg
The Uganda home based national team is resuming training on Friday 26th June 2015 at the Kabira Country Club, Kampala.
The team is regrouping after a 3-0 convincing win against the Tanzania Taifa Stars at Amman stadium in Zanzibar.
A brace from Erisa Sekisambu and a penalty converted by Faruk Miya sealed Uganda’s win against the Tanzanian hosts in Zanzibar.
According to the National team coach, Milutin Sredojovic the team delayed to regroup because the players needed time to rest after tight schedules with their clubs and some at the senior team that featured for Botswana while others were part of the Uganda U-23 team that eliminated Rwanda from the Africa U-23 championship qualifiers .
The training will include the Uganda U-23 team which is also preparing for a game against Egypt on 18th July in either Cairo or Alexandria .
We need not to relax after a win against Tanzania in Ammani stadium, It’s just the first half of the game which is not yet done
