Cranes will this evening enjoy a training session under floodlights at 8pm (9pm UG time) inside the venue in Cape Town that will host Uganda and Morocco on Monday in a crucial Group B CHAN fixture. The same venue will host the match between Nigeria and South Africa on Sunday so the organisers had to give Cranes the feel of the stadium today.
However, the Uganda Cranes will return to their designated training ground (Langa Stadium at 6pm Uganda Time) on Sunday.
Cranes are on top of Group B with four points. A win or draw on Monday against Morocco will send them to the quarter finals of the tournament that caters for the players who feature in their countries’ domestic leagues.
