Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) National Workshop Begins

The Federation of Uganda Football Association (FUFA) in collaboration with the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has organised a Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) National Workshop that started today morning at the Imperial Royale Hotel.

The two-day workshop is being attended by CEOs from the clubs in the StarTimes Uganda Premier League, betPawa Big League and FUFA Women Super League.

The FUFA 1st Vice President presided over the opening ceremony that was attended by the General Secretary National Council of Sport Dr. Ogwel Bernard Patrick, CAF Instructors Muhammad F. Sidat and John Muhire, and FUFA Executive Committee Members Rogers Mulindwa and Ronnie Kalema.

The secretariat was led by the FUFA CEO Edgar S. Watson.

The general objectives of the workshop are:

  • training of users for the CLOP;
  • present the CAF Club Licensing regulatory framework (edition 2022) for men´s and women’s;
  • explanation of mandatory criteria for the domestic and continental competitions.

The Club Licensing Online Platform (CLOP) is to start being operational in the 2024/2025 Season.
