At least 50 coaches will on Monday, 9th January 2017 embark on a journey to acquire new skills, knowledge and the much desired CAF ‘B’ credentials.
The coaches enroll for the CAF ‘B’ coaching course which gets underway at the FUFA Technical Center.
The course, according to the FUFA Education Manager, Jackson Nyiima will constitute of theory and practical sessions for a period of 2 weeks covering the laws of the game, sports medicine, field practicals, theoretical, orals and ethics.
FUFA’s agenda under the leadership of FUFA President Eng. Moses Magogo has been to front capacity building, education where at over 1000 personnel have been educated at the various levels of coaching, management, refereeing and administration.
This time round, the participants will do their Theoretical examinations online using the E-Learning system
Some of the coaches expected for the course include Uganda U-20 assistant coach Richard Wasswa, Edward Golola, Paul Mukatabala, James Odoch, Leo Adraa, Vincent Tumusiime, Kenneth Magada, Abbey Bogere Kikomeko, Wasswa Bbosa, Hamza Kalanzi, Yusuf Kyambadde, among others.
The course instructors are Mujib Kasule, Asuman Lubowa, Jackson Nyiima, Stone Kyambadde, Samuel Egesa and Yahaya Katumba.
