CAF and local coaches’ instructors Asuman Lubowa (FUFA technical Director) and Jackson Nyima (FUFA Education Officer) were pleased with the progress shown by the participants.

Lubowa stated;

The coaches showed willingness to learn and develop themselves as new tacticians of the game, so you need to give time to develop good coaches and provide coach education

One of the participating coaches; Michael Dogo, a former Nile FC player was glad to have attended the course and is looking forward towards upgrading.

“I learnt something different from the course where it looks to prepare us coaches for the coaching career,” said Dogo.

Meanwhile, the guest of honour Sam Lwere was so happy with the way Fufa Technical Center has been activated.

“I commend FUFA, the Technical Director and Education Officer for the tremendous work of making this study centre active. Our objective as Executive is to make use of this place and if you remember very well in the president’s manifesto He promised to galvanise the education sector and this is now some of the fruits.”

Lwere also urged coaches to go and practice what they have learnt.

You have learnt and we want to see you progress, so don’t get certificates and sit back. Coaching is different from other areas in football where you must be active to get to another level
