COMMUNICATION: Maiden caller on 102.1 FUFA fm

The newest kid on the block in electronic media 102.1 FUFA fm recorded the first caller on its airwaves on 1st April, 2015.

It was the first time that studio lines were opened to the public.

The maiden call was made by Charles Kyalisiima of Kosovo, Lungujja during sports show called Tuyigge (Let’s learn) that runs every weekday in the morning from 11am-1pm, hosted by Hassan Kirunda.

I am excited about the radio. I have been listening to the sports show for two weeks now but waiting for an opportunity when the phone lines would be opened’. I love the educational programme’

The first female to make a call on the show was Ritah Kigongo, a resident of Natete.

I love local sports so much. I support Express FC. I listened to the commentary of Express FC vs Sc Villa when the two teams played at Wankulukuku. I was inside the stadium but tuned in to  FUFA fm

Federation Spokesperson, Ahmed Hussein conducted the handover ceremony of the gifts to the callers.
