COMPETITIONS: Detailed FUFA 2015/16 Activity Calendar Released

2015/16 FUFA  Activity Calendar Started on 1st July 2015 with player registration and contracting as well as the primary transfer window. As seen above, FIFA Coaching Course at the FUFA Technical Center, Njeru is another activity for the season.

The Federation of Uganda Football Associations (FUFA) competitions department has released the detailed programme of the 2015/16 football calendar.

The programme has already started with the player registration, contracting procedure with the primary registration window of players.

The programme outlines all the events in the competitions (on domestic scene as well as those of CAF and FIFA) showing the dates for courses in administration, media and refereeing.

The Super Cup between Uganda Cup winners, SC Villa and Azam Uganda Premier League champions, Vipers will open the domestic competition action on 14th August 2015.

FUFA Competitions Director, Ali Mwebe released the activity report;

The 2015/16 Uganda Premier league will kick off on the 21st August 2015. The FUFA Big league kicks off on 10th September 2015 while the second edition of the FUFA women elite league shall kick off on the 3rd October 2015 with the regional league kick set for 13th August 2015.

31st July – 2015 – End of Club License for Azam Uganda Premier League Clubs

6th – 8th August 2015 – Chairmen/ Secretary Administration Course – FUFA Technical Center, Njeru

7th August 2015 – Medical – FIFA Referees

8th August 2015 – Referees’ Fitness Test – FIFA, Medical for Elite referees

8th August 2015 – Kagame Cup Ends in Dar es salaam

9th August 2015 – Fitness Test for Elite Referees

9th August 2015 – End of CAF C Licence Course

10th -12th August 2015 – Media Administration Course – Mengo

10th – 14th August 2015 – Players’ Beginners Course – Nakivubo Stadium

14th August 2015 – FUFA Super Cup (SC Villa Vs Vipers) – Nakivubo Stadium
