Uganda U-20 national team, The Hippos has on Wednesday resumed the preparations for the Confederations of South African Football Associations (COSAFA) Under 20 football tournament.
The two hour session was conducted at the outside training ground of Mandela National Stadium, Namboole.
A total of 23 players attended the training session.
With the exception of the KCCA players who had traveled for the Mbarara game (Muhammed Shaban, Mustapha Kizza and Allan Okello), US based Andrew Isiagi and SC Villa’s Nicholas Kasozi, the rest of the summoned players graced the session.

Head coach Mathias Lule was joined by his assistants James Odoch and the goalkeeping coach Samuel Kawalya together with the other support personnel in conducting the two hour session.
Emphasis was centered on ball work sessions, game situations, specialized goalkeeping drills and a lot of stretching drills.

Coach Lule is already impressed by the response of all the players in attendance;
I am pretty sure that we shall assemble a very good team for the COSAFA U-20 tournament.
Judging by the players’ body language, fitness, mental preparedness, all has been positive.
For the players who are away, it is communicated and understandable that they had traveled for the league match miles away. We expect them on Thursday morning

The team training resumes on Thursday with a double session.
